What is Consignment?

To give over to another's care for resale. Consignment doesn't necessarily mean "used" but it does mean great merchandise at lower than retail prices."

How to Consign
For furniture please send a digital photo or stop by Kim’s with a picture so we can see what you have to sell. All furniture must be approved in order to schedule them in the store to meet space needs and to determine if they are popular items or in demand. For accessories you may bring in 20 items per visit and must provide a list. Drop offs are accepted Monday thru Friday –NO Saturdays. An appointment is not necessary but please allows 15 minutes for us to screen your items and discuss price expectations. Items must be clean and in sellable condition.

Consignment Rate
Consignors are paid 50% of the selling price on accessory items and 60% of the selling price on Furniture.

Contract Term
Items are consigned for 90 days. Consignors may pick up unsold merchandise at the end of the term or may opt to have items donated to a local charity. Exceptions regarding seasonal merchandise apply.

Price Reduction
Kim's Consigned Designs does NOT participate in an automatic price reduction. When pricing consigned items we make every effort to assign prices based on a fair resale value. We will make an effort to accommodate both the consignor of the merchandise and the purchaser. customer and the consignor.
